Ken Waldman: Fiddling Poet | Workshop & Concert April 30, 2026 5PM | FOUR WRITING PROMPTS: THE BEGINNING OF FOUR NEW STORIES OR POEMS (WRITING WORKSHOP) Please join us in our Studio where acclaimed writer and musician Ken Waldman will lead a 2-hour workshop designed for writers of any experience, ability, and age (though recommended for writers at least 13 years old). The more you write, the luckier you get. Each time you start a piece, there’s an opportunity to get luckier than ever. The trick is getting started. Here, you’ll not only begin four new pieces, but will learn strategies to begin many more. The session is open to writers of all levels and experience. Ken Waldman will preform his show titled Now Entering Alaska Time, where he combines fiddle tunes with Alaska-set stories and poems. This event is free and open to the public. He has 17 full-length poetry collections, a memoir (about his life as a touring artist), 3 children’s books, a creative writing manual, a short story collection, and a novel.
