DESCRIPTION:Ken Waldman: Fiddling Poet | Workshop & Concert\nApril 30\, 2026\n5PM | FOUR WRITING PROMPTS: THE BEGINNING OF FOUR NEW STORIES OR POEMS (WRITING WORKSHOP)\n\nPlease join us in our Studio where acclaimed writer and musician Ken Waldman will lead a 2-hour workshop designed for writers of any experience\, ability\, and age (though recommended for writers at least 13 years old).\n\nThe more you write\, the luckier you get. Each time you start a piece\, there’s an opportunity to get luckier than ever. The trick is getting started. Here\, you’ll not only begin four new pieces\, but will learn strategies to begin many more. The session is open to writers of all levels and experience. \n\nKen Waldman will preform his show titled Now Entering Alaska Time\, where he combines fiddle tunes with Alaska-set stories and poems.  This event is free and open to the public.  It follows his Writing Workshop in the same space earlier in the afternoon. He has 17 full-length poetry collections\, a memoir (about his life as a touring artist)\, 3 children’s books\, a creative writing manual\, a short story collection\, and a novel.
