"Let's Talk about End of Life and Death" free, monthly in person event in Hood River, 3rd Thursday

These conversations focus on talking about end of life (=EOL) and death. The goals are:

• To destigmatize talking about these inevitable topics.

• To spark curiosity and connection, to become more death literate.

• To use the cards of “The Death Deck” (TheDeathDeck.com) or “The EOL Deck” to inspire reflection and conversation.

• To learn more about local Gorge and general resources.

• To meet new people and have an interesting and fun evening.

7:00  PM – 7:15 PM Arrive, mingle, order food and drink.

7:15 PM – 8:15 PM Brief introductions, end of life and death themed conversations, organizer or participants may suggest topics.

8:15 PM – 8:30 PM Reflections, closure.

What these events are not:

A bereavement support or grief counseling group

• A caregiver or illness specific support group

• An official Death Cafe or Death over Dinner event

• A lecture series or a business networking event
