About

The Bridge of the Gods Kite & Wing festival is the longest running amateur kiteboarding event in North America.  BOTG has been a springboard for launching many amateurs into the rank of professional Wind Sportsmen.

The Blowout Race is a 17-mile Downwind Race from Stevenson, WA to the Marina in Hood River, OR. With roughly 103 watermen all launching and racing together, it makes an incredible spectacle full of team building and comradery.

Rachel Callahan has lived in Stevenson, WA since 2007 with her partner Grom Gormley. They are avid kiteboarders and as a result have been the Event Directors of the Bridge of the Gods Kite & Wing Festival from 2010-Present.

Callahan and Gormley also run Kiteboarding events in Hood River, Kiteboard 4 Cancer, and the LIghthouse 1000 in La Ventana Baja California Sur, MX. They spend thier winters in La Ventana.

Rachel hails from Sonora, California and Grom from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. They are very proud members of the Skamania Chamber of Commerce.
