Workshop: Washington Saves is coming. Is your business prepared?
Washington is preparing to launch Washington Saves, a state-sponsored automatic IRA program intended to expand workplace access to retirement savings. For business owners who do not currently offer a qualified workplace retirement plan, the new program creates some important questions:
•Will Washington Saves apply to my business?
•What will employers be required to do?
•How will payroll deductions and employee enrollment work?
•Can employees opt out?
•Does my business have to use Washington Saves, or are there alternatives?
•Could federal incentives available to eligible small businesses affect the economics of establishing a retirement plan?
Join Jeffery Adams of Wind Mountain Financial Group for a practical, non-technical discussion of Washington Saves, the decisions it may create for Washington employers, and retirement-plan alternatives business owners may want to evaluate. The objective is not to tell business owners which plan they should choose. It is to help them understand the questions they should be asking before they have to make that decision.
This workshop is FREE for Chamber members and is limited to 12 attendees. Register soon to save your seat!
Who should attend: Business owners, employers, HR professionals, payroll administrators, and other professionals who advise Washington small businesses.
